I stopped to admire the snow falling out of our house from the upstairs landing. It was pretty. Then I noticed something.
Understand that this is my front foyer.
And I have known for a bit that we are going to have to replace the door frame, because the outside is rotting. But in addition to that?! This is what the inside of the window above the door looks like.
Double crap.
It goes all the way down the side of the window, and there are puddles on the sill below the window. This means that the whole front side of my house is going to have to be removed in order to fix this problem! Triple crap.
In other thoughts, the cats keep sitting by the door wanting to go out, but even though they can’t see past the pile of snow, they think it would be fun. Until I open the door.
Ouch. That sucks!
